COVID-19: St. Louis REALTORS® Resources

Vaccine Information: is the website that provides Missourians with information regarding the safety of vaccines, research and production processes, and when various groups are eligible for vaccination. Unless a REALTOR® falls into Phase 1A or 1B due to age, underlying conditions, or for other reasons, those who work in the real estate industry are eligible for vaccination in Phase 2. Phase 2 vaccines in Missouri will be available on March 29, 2021. You are encouraged to sign up multiple times with multiple providers to increase chances of a confirmed appointment. According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) guidelines, real estate is included in the "Financial Services Sector" of essential workers. Some vaccine surveys will ask for that information.

New Forms | COVID-19 Rider/Notice

St. Louis REALTORS® created two new addendums - these forms have been created to accommodate some of the issues that have impacted our membership due to COVID-19. These can be found HERE.

  • COVID-19 Amendment to Sale Contract is a more general addendum that was created to provide an extension of Closing Date and financing issues.
  • Paragraph 11, Governmental Inspections and Occupancy Requests Notice (COVID-19) is specific to those transactions requiring a government inspection.
  • COVID-19 Release & Hold Harmless Agreement - A small Task Force of the Contract & Forms Committee has created a hold harmless agreement for interested parties to sign that will release the brokerage, its agents, employees, officers, and vendors from and against all claims for damages and liability resulting from exposure to COVID-19, associated with viewing and/or inspecting property owned or occupied by others, or allowing others to enter property.

Here you will find a status list for County Recorder offices in Missouri (as of March 26, 2020). As you can imagine, there are updates throughout each day, so, we recommend calling offices to confirm their availability/policies. You'll see most counties are developing alternate procedures to operate while closed to the public.
